Following a successful career as a director in television and film production, Peter diversified and became ICT leader in a large primary school. He significantly developed the pupils' learning of ICT across the school, creating projects such as Domex 2000. He then became ICT project manager of Kings Cross Educational Action Zone implementing a laser network connecting schools across the EAZ. He initiated many inspiring projects such as Virtual Carmen and the Genesis Project. Other exciting initiatives involved NASA, Expresso Education and the BBC. As well as managing projects using handheld learning devices, he organised and delivered customised ICT training for all the teachers in the schools in the EAZ. Peter has presented at many conferences including the Guardian ICT conference. Currently a Specialist Teacher at an Outstanding School in Kent, Peter has combined his love of learning, innovation and technology to co-create 'Home Learning Fun'.
Lorraine had a career in finance before re-training to work with children in 1999. She has worked across Key stage 1 to 3 and ran a thriving business as a Private Tutor supporting core subjects. Her training in SEND supports her work to inspire children to achieve their personal best. Lorraine favours a holistic approach within education; enjoying focusing on exploring communication and encouraging well being. Over the last few years Lorraine has initiated and developed a children's digital newspaper in an Outstanding School in Kent, working with Peter to explore more complex digital media & film. This has earnt praise from the BBC, children's authors, the UK's only national children's newspaper; First News, the London Marathon and artists from Aardman Animations, among others. Lorraine has combined her knowledge of learning and love of creativity and technology to co-create 'Home Learning Fun'.
